I got it recently and it is rather powerfull, more then most say.
In an Arc burn situation the thing is an absolute beast especially for grouped together enemies.

Hmmm. Could this be because there is no other arc damage auto rifle to compare it to...

I have all Arc primaries and i can say that necrochasm is quite powerfull with Arc burn. Fatebringer is ofcourse stronger in terms of raw damage, but necrochasm shoots faster and the cursebringer perk is a more powerfull version of Firefly. But necrochasm is not a perfect weapon and it needs a Major overhaul. Double the magazine size would be a good start

Definitely needs some fine tuning and upgrading. One of the hardest guns in the game to get and its mediocre.
