Ships and shaders should be available through vendors for glimmer. Please stop giving either as a strike or any other activity reward. Ships and shaders have 0 value, it's extremely upsetting when a 20-minute gameplay ends with this crap. The only exception should be Crota's End raid ships, some people want them. Now, about ship design. It's ridiculous, every ship is a bunch of simple lines with 0 functionality and negative cool factor. Have you guys ever watched Star Wars or googled images for the word "spaceship" ? Try it, you will find out that spaceships can be asymmetric, have complicated shapes , and actually look quite exciting. In Destiny ships have cosmetic value only, they got to look the part.
