No, I will settle this, once and for all. Fatebringer is an average hand cannon, used by guardians whose precision typically falls between 30%-40%. They are not natural hand cannon users, and rely on the firefly perk, to keep themselves competitive. Rewatch Professor Borman in the Prison of Elders reveal, and observe how he uses Fatebringer. His precision is higher than most who use that weapon, but he still suffers from the same afflictions, that all Fatebringer users suffer, namely poor gun skills, and that constant search for the one great 'cluster kill'.

  • I would say the weapon alters the user, not that there are users looking for a cluster kill weapon. I typically use my red hand ix but I find that yes, I do enjoy making enemies go bang with my recently acquired fate bringer but that's the strength of the gun and I'd say it's quite powerful indeed. Used it in a nightfall yesterday. Holy shit.
