Can I offer an easy solution to the Thorn "problem"?
Simply change the Mark of the Devourer perk so that damage over time does not affect Guardians. Would this not solve the biggest issue with this weapon?

I've received a few other interesting ideas in this thread:
● make it so mark has a chance of activating not guaranteed.
● only the first round does DoT
● have an armour perk that denies DoT.

I have a some solutions. 1: Get Thorn, use it too. 2: Get TLW, use it against them. 3: Get the Vex, use it against them. 4: Use the Mida, I took down heaps of Thorn users with it. I'm not a great PvP player by any means, I do ok, but nothing special, and I was able to combat Thorn with the above weapons. You just need to use what the game gives you, and use it situationally.
