My friend came up with what I believe is the fastest way to farm glimmer in the game. You can go from 0 to 25,000 glimmer in about 30 minutes if done correctly. Plus you'll end up with some extra network keys. However, it requires two people, preferably they should both be voidwalker warlocks but I think striker titans would also work. Start up the exclusion zone mission on Mars (we'll be farming the normal spot at the beginning, but in a more efficient way). As soon as you can, use Resupply Codes to receive more glimmer for the kills you'll be getting. On the very first run, simply go out and kill enemies until you both get your super, but make sure to leave at least one enemy alive, then kill yourselves to reset the checkpoint. You will both spawn with your supers ready. As soon as the door opens, run past the first dropship and all its enemies. This will cause the second dropship (with the majors) to spawn. As quickly as you can, get underneath the second dropship with on of you on each side. As soon as the majors drop out (one group on each side), each of you supers the group on your side as they hit the ground. If done correctly, you will kill all the majors and a couple extra enemies with your supers while each generating 8 orbs. Pick up each others orbs to get supercharged again, then kill yourselves with a rocket launcher or grenade. Just repeat this process over and over. Should take about 30 seconds or less per run.
