Best PvP Legendary Rocket Launcher
What do you think is the best legendary rocket launcher for PvP?
I haven't found a decent one yet but it seems that hazen vengeance is good! Also a lot of people use the iron banner rocket launcher.
Just curious, would like to see some opinions from regular launcher users, as I am a machine gun man myself!

The only time I use a rocket launcher is when I'm using truth, if I'm using anything besides truth it's a machine gun and I'm going to get more kills than I would with rockets.

5 RepliesTruth without a question. You did specify legendary though, so I'd probably have to say Radegast's Fury or the Valedictorian (with a tracking roll). Whatever it is, it's gotta track. Anything else is a bonus. High velocity is also the best way to go.

I got a steel oracle with proximity detonation...never mis its super good. Never seen anyone else who uses it either.

Anything with high velocity stats, grenades and horseshoes and something that helps with reload speed. Have a look at mine

I use my old trusty 300 unfriendly giant with grenades and horseshoes, clown cartridge. This rocket launcher will be getting the etheric light treatment.

The best perk you can have is Proximity. The second best perk is Clown Cartridge. The last additional perk you'd want is Field Scout. Radgasts Fury is the best launcher because you can get all of those perks when you re-roll it. Blast Radius and Velocity are high as well. It's the best launcher other than the Truth. The Valedictorian that's sold by the Crucible Quartermaster has Proximity and Clown Cartridge. It's a very good launcher with its primary downfall being it's slow velocity. Also, blast radius is very important. I have a Cure with Prox, Clown, and Field Scout...exactly the same as my Radgast, but the blast radius is a good amount lower. I've noticed people can survive my rockets blast damage from my Cure since the blast radius is only around 70%. My Radgast's blast radius is about 95% and you can definitely tell it's harder for the enemies to escape that rocket blast. I don't think I ever get hit markers with it...I always get the kill. It's only been with the Cure that I'll get hit markers but not kill the enemy.

2 RepliesTruth. Aggresive tracking, proximity, tripod (hidden perk), large blast radius, high velocity and stability, fast reload. The only drawback is it being an exotic, you will have to switch around your primary exotic just before heavy drops. No biggie, though.

12 RepliesThe Trials of Osiris rocket hands down will be the best launcher. It has: 1. Tracking 2. Grenades and horseshoes 3. Is legendary grade That launcher and the shotgun are the main reasons to play ToO. The shotgun has: 1. Send it 2. Hammer forged 3. Shot package 4. Exact same stats as FL, but +5 base range. That shotgun is going to ruin crucible.

Any legendary rocket launcher with the perk "Grenades and horseshoes" is the best. It's give the rockets proximity detonation so when you are fight another person with rockets all you have to do it shoot in their general area and then jump for cover. If you are using a rocket with proximity detonation and they are using something like hezens vengeance you are going to win that fight all the time.

The only vendor rocket launcher I'd recommend is the valedictorian, sure it's slow but proximity detonation is unbeatable for crucible. Other than that, if you get lucky and get a faster rocket with proximity that'd be better because the valedictorian only gets 3 rockets maximum for some reason.

The new dead orbit launcher is gonna be really good. Right now the crucible launcher is the best you can buy.
