Seriously now, I know lots of people do it so just fess up and tell me why would you waste your super on one person?
Now just to clarify (since I know certain circumstances makes sense) - I'm not referring to heavy ammo drops, control zones, or vehicles. Im talking like instead of a fire fight you just chicken out and hit the panic button.
Happens to me all the time.
Edit: best reasons so far: to take out another super, super charges fast so it can be used often, and preserving kill streaks.
Not so good reasons so far: because f you that's why (pussies lol). These jackasses are the reason for the topic.
I just started using my Titan in the crucible so for me (and other Titan/Warlock noobs) there are some good tips to be found here.
Edit 2: another good reason is teabag revenge lol

To piss that person off.
-
I usually kill one person if I'm on a kill streak and want to keep it alive
-
people worry about the wrong things, who cares why someone plays THEIR game the way the do, it's THEIR'S to play how THEY choose.
-
Eh a lot of people towards the end forget they have a super and use it. Some times if some one does it to me I'll seek revenge and do it to them. Honestly why do people care? That's like saying: why use weapons, just melee. Killing one person with weapons is OP. Panic or not. Your fighting for your life, so fight guardian.
-
The one and only acceptable response is... -blam!- you, that's why.

Only a hunter main would ask such a question. *checks op's profile* Sure enough; hunter main.

Because I can

1 ReplyWe all know which class is the worst at this.
looking at you, titans
-
Because sometimes you need to survive to 1. Cap a point 2. Win the game 3. Get heavy ammo 4. You're on a roll and death will ruin momentum Imagine in call of duty you have a button that lets you live when you're about to die but it has to recharge. Wouldn't you push it if you want the kill and to live. It is very idiotic to not do everything in your power to win a fight. Titans and warlocks understand this cuz they can't preactivate supers
-
I use it on the first person I encounter after getting it. Fingers crossed there's a few people there. If not, still an orb for my team. Doesn't help anyone on your team saving it up.
-
Because they can and you can't do shit about it
-
Sometimes I nova bomb really fast around corners/under/above people and assume there are more than one coming. I always go UGH whenever I do lmao
-
When I'm about to get a 10 killstreak for the Iron Banner bounty I'll use it to save my skin. If someone activates their super I'll do the same.
-
It is rare I will use fist of havoc on one player outside of negating an enemy's super. Bounty, kill streak etc I will use it on one enemy. My favorite is at a control point. Take out one player. Others will quite often overlook the aftermath and run right back in. Aftermath can take out another 2-3 players easily. Titans catch hell for this but I see every class waste their supers.
-
You should be happy if they only got one person as it could've been used to get up to six people on your team. Unless you were on a kill streak then that's annoying
-
Because epic montage in weekly update
-
If there are a crap load of orbs around I will get rid of that super on someone with a sliver of health.
-
Because once the other guy lands the first hit, you have no hope of surviving the fight without a super
-
3 RepliesIf I'm on a good streak and I have my Nova Bomb, I'm gonna use it on one person if I have to, to keep my streak going.
-
1 ReplyIf you're in a ward of dawn alone or fireborn you are getting supered
-
I taught myself to only use my nova bomb if I know there's at least 3 people. Radiance I just activate and run around and kill people.
-
1 ReplyYeah I know the feeling -____- feel like it happens to me 5 to 6 times plus a game. I usually run Sunsinger with Radiant Skin, but in the off chance I'm using void walker I try to save my super for the perfect opportunity, but then I find myself only use it once or twice a game. Where as if I just use it on the go, I can easily make more orbs for my team, and start building up for another.
Unrelated to the topic (sorta), I feel like EVERY TIME I use my damn Radiance there is just a giant sign over my head saying "Use your super here!" Literally one of the most annoying things about running sunsinger... And it loses to EVERY other super. Not even kidding, golden gun 1 shot, nova bomb one shot, fist of havok one shot, blade dancer one shot, even in the damn bubble a titan has more health then you... So upsetting.
Edited by o0o ANTH0NY o0o: 5/15/2015 12:21:28 AMTwo simple answers To stay alive..... To kill an enemy.....
seriously who taught the people that come up with threads such as this
Edit-lol I just looked at your stats it makes sense now.....

Mostly edit 1... I would rather get a sure kill and let it charge up than try to hold it forever waiting for a perfect opportunity. May depend also on game flow, or how I am doing personally that match. If I am doing very well with guns, I'll assume I can kill 1v1 and hold it. If I am being blown away, then I will take my one kill and be happy with it. I've had those games where I go 4-5 deaths in a row being killed by supers (and, just me for most of those deaths ).. I gets frustrating when you die 9 times and 5 of them are supers :p but at least they're "wasting" it on just me :p

To kill you
