Stereotyping gamers as male
I have a semi unisex name for a reason. It bothers me that people can automatically assume gamers are male. Unless the person's tag is basically saying I'm a gamer girl. That term bugs me too. 'Gamer girl' Every one of us is a gamer alike. Does It matter the sex of the person? I just feel that this is a very big issue that I feel needs to be addressed in a brighter light.

1 ReplyGuys think girls aren't skilled at playing games. If I had it my way id pick girl players over guys because girls are calm an get down to business (least the ones I play with) and guys are all over the place loud, annoying, wanna be funny but are not at all, bark but can't bite, mess around to much, and wanna act like they know everything. There are times I meet a couple of guys playing that are serious, focused, and still trying to have fun. So what I'm saying is no it doesn't matter what sex you are because girls and serious guy players that wanna have fun are the best to play with. Also if a guy/girl calls a guy a gamer guy/boy/man/bro it sounds weird gamer girl just rings.
