I jumped in last night to take care of some bounties and check some weapons out, while giving the Crucible post-updates a shot.
PVE is still fun but can be reptitive and the Crucible still rhymes with horrible.

Edited by JaqenIsTheDoctor: 5/14/2015 3:05:16 PMlag switchers have ruined crucible and if Bungie doesn't do anything about Trials of Osiris is going to be the worst part of HoW p.s. you wouldn't happen to be a Sexy TX Longhorn would you?

I most certainly am, hook 'em! And I think Crucible isn't so much about deliberate, lag switching cheaters, but a bunch of poor connections really taxing some sorry netcode in this game. Played last night and it was rooooough.

Hook 'Em indeed (actually have the tattoo lol) I think it's a combination of both. Lagswitchers are super cheap to make and the fact that Bungie only used dedicated servers for the PVE makes them open to being taken advantage of. Any multiplayer shooter out long enough after release without dedicated servers eventually gets flooded with lagswitchers. Worst example I can think of is Modern Warfare 2. You can tell the difference if someone is lag switching though. Their connection will sometimes be good and sometimes be bad and they will be the only ones with a bad connection. Also magically that bad connection will give them some kind of advantage in the fight (like emptying an entire clip in their head and then you die). Here is an example of lag switching, notice I had jumped away, started to heal and got punched from between 2 walls and a large pipe. Then the guy proceeds to glitch/run across the map. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M9Ag1CS3L_g
