Why are you on these forums begrudging people their time/money? That lack of open-mindedness is failing at life. Maybe people don't have the money to go to Hawaii, or maybe they're going to do that later in the year. Maybe they just have a glut of time saved up at their job. Maybe they've been overworked and want an excuse for a few days off. I once took a week off for a WoW expansion, and that week was one of the best weeks I played with some of my guildmates, many of whom I've since met outside of the game and formed lasting friendships with. P.S. People with paid leave don't lose wages for taking time off, and many companies force you to use all (or most) of your leave by year's end.
