Honestly, you cannot change this stereotype for a long time. I'm sure it has been addressed many times before but people just don't really care about it in general. I know what I'm saying is a negative thing to say but there is still hope to stop this stereotype. It might take ages but it will be stopped one day. Like what your doing right now, stating the issue helps bring more awareness to the community. For me, whenever I join a random raid group or my friend's group. There is always some kind of harassment towards them because of being a "girl". I hate that so much. I would always say "Sit the -blam!- down and shut up! Apologize to her or get out!" They usually do shut their mouths and other times they leave. But my point is just keep playing, do what your doing and ignore what the ignorant bastards have to say. Also don't stop spreading the awareness!
