I'm gonna use a metaphor...
Bear with me for a moment...
Say you order a pizza for tomorrow night. You pre pay over the phone. The shop says "all good be there at 6pm."
Then the next day the shop calls you at 5pm and says "hey sorry, our cheese isn't any good. We will give you a free garlic bread instead."
Now you are gonna be disappointed because cheese is a important part of pizza. But -blam!- it. You like garlic bread and you have already paid anyway.
Then at 5 minutes to 6pm the pizza shop calls you up and says "hey man, we got a problem with our oven! We will call you every hour until we know something!"
You gonna be happy?

No of course not. I will wait however long it takes. I would prefer deadlines being met. Don't say a certain date until you are ready. Like 100% good to go. I would prefer they just said May until the work was done.

Easier said than done with deadlines...if you gave a vague release date then everybody wants a set date since the company has already betrayed our trust by giving half of a product from what was told from advertisement...patch or change the way we want to play...ect....

It's like waiting in line for a roller coaster then when you're 5th in line you see a kid throw up and all the medic get around him and the rides shut down. You don't know when the ride will be back up, but you know it'll be as soon as they clean their shit up.

Well you didn't, but if it's tied up with HoW and that gets delayed... To use the metaphor again.. You didn't pay for the box the pizza was in, but if they didn't put it in a box, you would get a soggy -blam!-ed up pizza.

Well it's an extrapolation based on the limited information we have received. Why the information is so limited this close to release date is a reason for concern
