Wait, by "fixing that" do you mean that essentially nothing will change? I.e. we can still equip IB, build ammo, swap to another sniper and get the ammo?
I saw an inherent flaw in this. BIG time. If they did do that it could have the adverse effect of killing ALL ammo when swapping any special to any other special. Example: I have 20 rounds on my P&T, swap to my LDR and i have zero rounds.
Hopefully i made my point clear: Will it stay the same or can we not use IB to get ammo on other guns? That sums it up more succinctly ha
Thanks in advance bro
They are fixing the "Heavy Ammo glitch."
Basically emptying your primary and heavy, all kills with Ice Breaker will result in Heavy ammo drops. It was using a trick as the game thinks the Ice Breaker has zero ammo even when its full. You're basically making the game think you have zero ammo at all thus rewarding all ammo drops per kill, including heavy.
I suspect that's only part if it. to me, it sounds like you will no longer get free ammo by letting IB recharge and switching to another secondary.
Example: arc burn Nightfall, patience and time equiped, use all ammo, switch to IB, recharge ammo, switch back to P&T get 12 free rounds.
I think this is what they are changing.
I see. Well. ...bummer. from the patch notes I read it did not mention heavy ammo but people speculated on it. Guess they confirmed it recently. I haven't checked
Thanks though
