Lol no. IMO, anything you do while soloing using in-game mechanics/abilities (I.e. Not lag glitching or leaving the map etc) is not cheesing. It's one guardian on a mission, using all the tools at his disposal. Look at it this way. If Bungie really wanted to stop it they could. They already put invisible walls up to make it harder. Why is there still a path? Did they run out of invisible walls?
