I realized something about xûr and gjallarhorn
I recently realized that almost all of the people who want it to be sold don't have it. I personally do not have one but I don't want it sold as I would rather have it drop and me freaking out. If I bought it I don't think I would get the same reaction. If he sold it I would buy it but I would rather get in a drop. But god damn the drop is elusive. Derp Out!

If I ever RNG one I won't be excited. Happy for sure, but not excited. Crota's End has pretty much sucked any potential fun out of it. My joy will be reserved for the next brand knew handcannon drop or a Hunger of Crota.

Even if it is sold, you can choose not to buy it and preserve your fun freak-out. By asserting a desire to prevent its sale, you are actually making a statement on how you wish others to experience the game.

Here's a thought, if you want it to drop why not wait for it to drop? There's nothing in destiny that says "if Xur sells a weapon you don't have, you must buy it."

5 RepliesIt's a Friday morning, you stroll into the tower to check what snake face has, ya know, just out of routine. I mean, he almost always sells crap you don't want but hey, you never know until you know, you know. Besides, the running of xur is part of Friday fun. You finally find where he is hiding (it's usually too easy because there's 20 guardians names shining through the walls of the tower like a beacon) and approach him. The first thing you see is... GJALLARHORN! Wait!?! This can't be right??? You end trade and reopen thinking someone is playing a cruel trick, GJALLARHORN! It's there! Right in front of you! The long search is over! You finally recieved what you have long been looking for! FINALLY!!! Your trying to tell me you wouldn't freak out? Personally I have one, would love if he sold it though. Universal remote was my one exotic that refused to drop and when I found him stocked with it, I flipped. I didn't believe it - finally, my collections complete! It was a glorious day.

TBH, who gives a flying -blam!- if xur sells it or not? You complaining that he should won't be heard, and those that complain that it should not be sold won't be heard. People get shit when they don't deserve it, and people don't get stuff when they do. It's bungie people, they won't listen. They will do what they please, so if he does, great! If not, still great. I don't have one but is a ghorn really all you need to have fun in this game? If so, find a new game.

Lol if he sold it i would scream FINALLY and sprint there. But if he doesnt idc. Saves me time looking for xur. He doesnt have anything ill ever need again until dlc comes out and i spam engrams from him. (And occasionally heavy ammo)

I personally feel that it would be great if Gjallarhorn was sold by Xur. I don't think it would have the same happy effect, or the "earned" pride however, which is why I'd prefer he not sell it.

I got one. Couldn't of cared less if I bought it or it dropped. Just don't buy it if he does sell it. On another note. You just realized people that want it sold don't have it??? Why would people that have it want it sold? Wouldn't they want something else sold? Something they don't have? Sorry, but that seems pretty rudiment.
