People who don't own black hammer
How can you peasants live with yourself not owning the B-E-S-T sniper rifle in game?

Wtf are you talking about Felwinter's Lie is the best sniper in the game you newblord plebeian fool, black hammer is third best with Gjallarhorn in second place, gosh your metrics are sooooo off.

Hasn't dropped for me yet. I like my sword breaker though. Now there's a true Praetorian Foil.

1 ReplyI have black hammer and the only way it's good is during nightfall switch solar burn and on a boss that has a big crit hit area that stands still. Ice breaker is better hands down

I've heard the black hammer has insane boss crushing capabilities, but I've also heard it's not good for much else considering it only has 3 in the mag. I would much rather use something like the longbow or icebreaker for general PVE content. Despite all the hate it seems to be getting in the comments of this post, my arc efrideets with field scout is overall far superior to black hammer

Lol anyone who says the spear is better than black hammer obviously doesn't have one. Spear is good and all, especially for burns besides solar, but hammer is win for everything.

I used to think ice breaker was the best sniper...then i got 3 black hammers and its used for everything i do lol. Fatebringer, black hammer or sword breaker, and ghorn. [spoiler]its not hard to get 3 headshots in a row..even on non-major enemies..[/spoiler]

I got it a few days a go but I was in my level 27 warlock on normal crota so I couldn't do any damage at all they were all level ?? So I just shot at crota and hoped they didn't notice. It was my first raid boss completion and I got the hammer

I use my spear more than my hammer.

Actually a weapon i have! Only done one raid and it dropped. If this thread was about ghorn though different story.

I don't know man. Every week I try and try again. I don't even know how many completions I have at this point (it seems like I've been doing too much) but none of those completions help. I take the sword and smash Crota to his knees. Nothing I kill the sword bearer swiftly and easy I take out boomers I shoot the shit out of thralls Nothing WHY!

Got me mine yesterday. Felt bad as i got added at crota and got hammer. Everyone else mostly got shards and armor they didnt need. I think one guy got mida. I stayed and played from the start again with them on their other characters as i felt bad.

Is nice , especially on atheon as long as no one is shooting rockets or grenades or golden gunning him making him move

It is one of my favourite weapons in the game. Amazing for killing Atheon, Nexus, Sepiks Prime, Walkers, Archon Priest, all the knightsv after the Ir Yut check point and loads of others in between. That are Gjalla are equipped 90% of the time for me

Ice breaker is way more versatile, black hammer is a good sub when u want gjallarhorn
