Sounds good to me. I'm glad they've simplified the menus and potion crafting system.
Kind of a shame that the story isn't all that amazing according to ign
But I'm not playing it for some main epic story as much as I am for the world, sidequests, and interesting missions. The only thing that bothers me is the framerate drop.

25 RepliesDang it has story padding. I can't believe this shit, after the witcher 2 had such a great story. Streamlined combat system, A.K.A. casual friendly. Frame rate drops on top of that. I'm now not sure if I'll even buy the game. Glad I didn't pre-order.

1 ReplyThe gamestop keychain makes a good necklace.

1 Reply9.3 what are you guys bitching about?

4 RepliesDon't care. I trust my own judgment more than some game journalist who only spent a few hours playing a fraction of the game.

5 RepliesYoutube Conan O'Brian Witcher 3. It's worth it.

7.8/10 Too much Witcher

Who genuinely gives a -blam!- what IGN has to say

3 RepliesI'm shocked that some folks in this topic are paying much attention to individual game site reviews. Just pay attention to the aggregate, read a couple of reviews if you want, root around some forums to see what players are saying, and you'll have a decent feel for what's coming. But quoting a single article as a reason for euphoria or shattered hopes is foolishness.

The frame-rate drops will be fixed with a day1 patch which will be avaliable for everyone at the same time. Gamespot gave the game a 10/10
-
IGN is -blam!-ing retarded with their comment section. Actually making people wait before they approve comments.

4 RepliesIf a game hasn't got CoD in the title, IGN don't understand it. Since this isn't game isn't called CoD:The Witcher, I'll assume IGN are talking their usual bollocks...
-
2 RepliesThe reason this didn't get a 10/10 like GTA and Skyrim is because it's not as popular so less hype.

Edited by thefourfoldroot: 5/12/2015 10:25:12 PMIs this the one that mistakenly said the ps4 has frame rate drops without having the day1 patch? http://www.dualshockers.com/2015/05/12/the-witcher-3s-ps4-frame-rate-already-improved-gets-more-info-on-censorship-snow-and-more/ Oh, has anyone played the Xbox version yet? What's the performance like other than the variable resolution?

Looks like it finally stepped into the realm of Xenoblade chronicles and chrono trigger.

1 ReplySo basically he says " Even if the plot isn’t terribly interesting, the many characters who play a part in it are, and along with the excellent combat and RPG gameplay, they elevate The Witcher 3 to a plane few other RPGs inhabit." The game isn't so great but final verdict one of the most amazing games ever? So weird. I may way on this one.
