Hadronic/ Plasteel Farming?
So on my Hunter, Sapphire Wire isn't in short supply. But I'm constantly zeroed in Hadronic Essence and Plasteel Plating. I know unlocking all the upgrades for armor before dismantling yields higher amounts of such materials, but are there other ways of farming these materials?

If you equip the green and blue armor when you turn in bounties, you'll get more material when you break them down if they are fully leveled. You don't actually have to upgrade them. The bubbles just have to be open. It helped me out a lot. Green armor takes 1 bounty to fully unlock and blue takes 3-4ish.

Best thing to do is save all armor engrams in the vault, and have your Titan or warlock give then to the cryptarch and then break them down

2 RepliesVenus room farming. Gets me shit loads of engrams and from time to time I chuck an ether seed on to bump up the glimmer.

I just do chest runs on the character who's armor I'm upgrading. Nets you glimmer, upgrade mats, armor mats, experience towards the level up, rare ships, I've even gotten legendary engrams and ascendant mats from chests, and you might be able to knock out a couple bounties in the process.

Farm glimmer at exclusion zone and then buy green helmet from vanguard to dismantle. Quickest way.

2 RepliesI suggest ROC strikes on the character you need them for. If not save all your blue engrams and transfer them around to where you need them.
