How to get Black Wax Idols quickly?

You can always farm the Dark Below mission if you want black wax and Husk, but for now just wait for HoW. Material Trading is in that.

Do the first moon level. Don't kill the knight, but kill the other 4 majors. Then either nade/rocket yourself or let the knight kill you. Just keep doing it & you'll start racking up wax. Or just keep doing eris missions. On the last mission, their is a part with a decent amount of majors & you can't respawn so you could just keep killing all but one & repeat. Would get wax faster that way I think maybe, since you have at least 5-8 instead of 4 on the first moon mission(plus you have to deal with all the enemies & not kill the knight)

Go to cosmodrome patrol. Head left from the spawn point and go down into the closest building. 3 hive majors spawn in a room there. Kill them, then leave the room, wait a few seconds, and go back. They'll respawn. Repeat the process. They drop black wax idols at a fair rate, and usually if they don't drop an idol you'll get a silken codex.

Go the dark beyond mission(lvl 9 or higher). Find the dead guardian. Wait for the door to open. Decimate thralls and acolytes that come flooding out. Do not kill the knight. Die. Repeat. I usually do that about 10-12 times or so when glimmer farming and usually find 3-4 idols.
