2 shot kill. No other gun in game can do that, except snipers and shotguns (both are secondary with limited ammo). But let's excuse that and say that's fine. When you hit someone with thorn, they cannot recover their health for 4 seconds. That means that person is at a one shot status for 4 seconds where someone can throw a firebolt or arcbolt grenade and their is nothing you can do. Any auto rifle vs thorn, thorn wins 100% of the time, no matter the distance. Any scout rifle vs thorn and thorn wins 80% of the time, no matter the distance. The only guns that can compete with thorn, is Hawkmoon assuming one of its lucky bullets go off. And then of course the last word can at close range but mid range thorn wins again. I'm all for having guns worthy of being exotics and powerful, but when a gun is too powerful, Is when I say it needs rebalancing in a PvP game mode. My solution? Lower its dot damage from 7 to 5 + a slight reduction in impact so it cannot 2 shot. Or decrease how long the dot stays active for so people can recover faster.
