Check my hunter. Gear is purely for aesthetics. God if only all armor had legendary upgrade paths. :( This is the whole Crucible armor set. I believe there's other variations of the set as well. But I don't think any piece makes a significant difference other than perks and stat rolls of course. Also S/O to New Monarchy for giving me Nefertiti AK at rank 17 just a second ago.
