Well obviously it's going to seem bad for you, your precision accuracy with it sucks
-
It amazes how little I see it used in PVP. The only primary I've ever really consistently used, and have no plans to change. The thing is a beast man.
-
I prefer b line trauma. Thing fires as fast as you can hit the trigger. You get the right perks and it's beast.
-
The move speed is the main thing that sets it apart.
-
12 RepliesFast ROF, can have a large clip, staggering, fastest movement speed buff in game, max reload speed, good stability and range, 3rd eye.
-
Fast RoF, 4/5 bullets to kill I believe. Third eye. High caliber rounds that stagger. Increase agility. It's a great weapon and it's what I used to wreck back in Iron Banner. Badger might be cool but it fires too slow for my liking. If you've got a fast trigger finger then mida is for you, if not then good for you it's just all about preference.
-
4 RepliesIf you aim down sites it makes you very hard to hit while strafing. You win a lot of one on one firefights because of that. Match it with the hunter's radiant dance machines and max your agility; to become the whispering shadow of death. (This totally negates weight of darkness in the ce lantern room, as long as you aim down sites.) The gun is like being Speedy Gonzalez, on bath salts.

5 RepliesWell you only have 70 kills with it. Honestly, you just haven't learned how to use it yet. The MIDA is hands down, my favorite weapon in the game. I feel empty if I'm wielding something else. What's not to like? Staggering rounds (hidden perk): the MIDA gets this perk without the penalty to gun handling Third eye: one of my favorite perks. This is especially helpful in crucible +2 agility: who doesn't love perks that directly affect your characters stats? And let's not forget the MIDA perk itself. It's boosts movement speed and fires on a hair trigger. This perk doesn't sound like much, but it's one of the most potent perks on the game. That one perk changes the feel of your entire character. That movement boost is no joke. Titans can max out agility and recovery, and still run faster than hunters. Bladedancers can max out agility and walk faster than most people run. The MIDA also has a maxed "equip speed" stat, meaning it aims super quick, reloads fast as hell, switching weapons is a blur, and you move almost at full speed while aiming. It can do it all. It's effective at long range and short range. Everything about the gun is built around being surgical. It's precise, quick, and tactical. If you have that type of play style, and you allow the gun to work for you, "it feels more like an extension of your will rather than an action." But if you're not accurate, you won't get much out of the gun. But the rhythm of the fire rate goes perfectly in time with the staggering animation, and hitting headshots is a breeze. I have over 17k kills with the MIDA alone and a precision kill rate of 71%. Nothing else in my arsenal comes anywhere close to that. I encourage you to try it. Just maybe play it differently than you would your other guns.

Go to Combined Arms. That is where the Mida shines.
The added agility really helps when you want to avoid a pursuing Pike or Interceptor. Plus, it is just a solid rifle all round.
2 RepliesMy play style has always relied on speed, that's one thing Mida adds and I prefer over most other weapons. As far as PVE/pvp goes, I'm always using mida or red death. Raids and such ofc require other weapons in other parts so I can't use it, but I would if I could lol. It shoots fast, it hits hard, it makes you move quicker, and it adds agility as well. It's easily the best weapon in the game in my books. At least the weapon itself, the other exotics have better perks ofc...
-
First you must ask yourself "good for what?" When you find out its niche and applications you should apply them and master the weapon effectively. Crucible tryhards will never understand this
-
use it with a striker subclass in the crucible. Sets up shoulder charges you wouldnt otherwise get.
-
17 RepliesIt's good for a good player. If your bad or need crutch weapons, you aren't going to enjoy this gun. Mida requires a bond between Guardian and Gun. A friendship. It's not Thorn, where it will carry you through any situation. No Mida will give as much as you put into it. You must learn it, cherish it.

2 RepliesWhen i pull the trigger, stuff die
-
highest knockdown ratio on enemy's in the game, i can even knock down angry modified cabal on the night fall with it.
-
2 RepliesEdited by GeneralPoe: 5/11/2015 6:57:47 AMI dismantled it when I got it the other day from VoG, there was a reason I never bought it from Xur before. My vision of confluence is the ONLY scout rifle I need.
-
Level it up and go for precision kills or it's no better than most legendary scout rifles. It is very accurate and reliably staggers opponents. It's fairly situational I'll admit.
-
Edited by JadedDark: 5/11/2015 7:58:55 AMIt's a very good weapon all around. The perk makes the skilled that much more untouchable in the abyss as well as on the battlefield.

I used to get my ass kicked by it in the crucible so i decided to give it a try and once i got the hang of the hair trigger i started doing better in the crucible. I do wish it had a bit more range though.
-
Mida with Dance machines in Crucible works well.
-
It boosts your agility and is hair trigger. If you don't move around or fire fast then it's not a gun for you.
-
Edited by fballguy: 5/11/2015 7:10:31 AMIt's nice for running lamps solo. A hunter or warlock with full agility can pretty much run right through without stopping. It's also very good in crucible because of its fast fire rate.
-
I go beast mode with it in crucible
-
It is simply an Agility Builders wet dream. +6 agility from 1 gun can make even the slowest guardian moonwalk all over the place.
-
PvP it's a beast of a gun.
