Just wondering what the ages are! EVERYONE: I did NOT write that last part of my poll! (Notice how they're all different from that one.) Like earlier on when I responded o a few of your comments, my brother wrote that last one. I LOVE gamers and I can happily say I'm part of this wonderful group of gamers of ALL ages. I just wanted to make this right and clear! Keep gaming;)

I'm 50, have a life, retired from one career and started another, have traveled the world, have an amazing wife, making good coin and still enjoy gaming... Suggest you learn better time management skills.

Turned 49 today, and I'm a lifelong gamer. :)

4 RepliesYou don't get to say anything about people getting a life if they game at 45+. How about you move out on your own and start your life before you bash what others do in their free time. I'm only 30 but I plan on gaming forever. I'll be hooked up to an oxygen tank while my sexy nurse gives me my daily meds and smashing shit on whatever game consol is out.

That last one is a low blow... People like you are the people who make people think gamers are assholes. A gamer is a gamer, no matter what age they are.

11 RepliesEdited by Danny staBB : 5/11/2015 12:56:02 AMMy 60 year old dad says he has a life. Got married, raised kids and has/had a very good career. Now he has earned his rest and plays games with his grandkids. Put down the controller and live a life before telling others to get a life.

1 ReplyEdited by Slaynite: 5/10/2015 10:22:22 PMYeah, you seem like you're 17. And it's you're*

2 RepliesRespect your elders, and im not talking age i mean wisdom elders. Some of these guys have been playing games since pong rolled out. They've lived through wars, depressions, recessions, and are still here to play with us. I'd say they are doing just fine living life the way they have while playing games.

3 RepliesThe best guys to run with are retirees who have been playing video games their entire adult lives. They understand when to be serious and when to joke. They aren't cranky if you wipe a raid late at night because they don't have to worry about getting up for work or school in the morning. They don't have babies crying, children or parents shouting, loud music or obnoxious pets that sound like death over a headset. They are genuinely happy to help because they are just happy to have people around that share a similar interest. They'd rather see you succeed than take all the glory themselves because they've already had their day and are satisfied with that. They usually have a great sense of humor and can roll with the punches. I love old timer-gamers. Most of my best runs have been with guys from 35 to 65. All of my worst runs have been with people under 25. Experience is a good thing. You need to get some, kid.

I would put a gap of 13-18 and 19-30 There are a ton of 15-18 year old

6 RepliesI'm only 24, but that last option irritated me a bit. You're 17, you have no idea what life is other than, "did you guys hear what happened to Jimmy at lunch?" At 45 that more than likely means that their kids have finally grown up and are out on their own. Some adults like to go golfing after work, others like to work on cars, and others like to play video games. Everyone has something they like to do to wind down after a long day at work (something you probably don't know about.) And when your kids finally move out you can do all of these things with minimal interruptions. So there's no need to tell people how to spend their free time.

You know what I didn't do much of when I was 17? Play video games. When I did it was normally a group of us hanging out at someone's killing time before we left for something. Commenting on forums is a whole different issue. The internet was still in its awkward years, trying to figure out what to do and how to be cool.

your last option is asinine. grow up

Get a life if you're 45+? You don't know shit about life kid, get off the forums before someone has to change your diaper

1 Replyyou're and you're in your last poll option.
Best not to throw rocks at people when you live in a glass house.
2 RepliesYou do realise that the gamers that are 45+ have been playing online games for longer than you were a thought in your daddies scrotum. And are probably more adept at games than you are. There was life before CoD you know. In fact you probably weren't around when Cod 1 was available on the PC and decent people played it

Edited by elhawko357: 5/11/2015 12:24:37 AMWeird age brackets 8-12 (4 year spread) 19-30 (11 year spread) Edit: maybe instead of knocking people for playing when being over 45... You should practice more. Those stats.. D:

Turning 9 in December!

2 RepliesMajority of gamers are 25 _ 30 I believe. Why get a life at 50? What's a life mate?! Kids, a wife a mortgage you can have all that and game at any age you silly brat.
