Got my first Fatebringer the other day. I fired a few shots with Word of Crota (my go to HC) then switch to Fatebringer and do the same... Immediately I can tell I'm going to like this.
I took it on patrol and noted that it was a little underpowered, which wasn't surprising since it is a 300 gun which hadn't been unlocked. Then I got firefly, and things started to get fun. After that was the sureshot sight and I took it in the crucible, where it became the first hand cannon I have ever gone positive with.
Up next: field scout... +1 bullet is a disappointment. This is followed by Outlaw, which is simply a thing of beauty and a joy forever. I then capped it off with exploding rounds, and I was officially in love.
I can't wait to score some etheric light for this gun.

3 RepliesYou will probably turn off explosive rounds, i know i did because it interferes with firefly. And i noticed the damage numbers drop with explosive activated. It clears rooms better with explosive turned off because when you shoot the first with explosive he simply busts without chaining the arc damage between enemies

Very useful since hand cannons always have a problem with ammo. And as a1 said, explosive rounds messes with firefly.
