Talking to 12 people at once in person is bad enough. Talking to that many, no, organizing and trying to strategize with that many people on a headset with varying levels of feedback, ambient noises, etc...
God, that sounds like hell to me.
I'm sure it could be done, I'm sure it could be fun, but in most cases it would be sh*t.

Break it up into squads like battlefield, all 12 are on the same team, but you can only hear 2 others in in-game chat that are part of your squad. 3 to a squad and 4 total.

Like I said, could be done. I still think that sounds like sh*t. Not knowing where the rest of the team is our what they are doing? Why raid with them then?

Look up eve online if you wanna see massive teams, I think it's gay as shit but crazy how big the scale in that game is

Are they as organized as a raid requires? I'll have to look it up later, I know of the game, just never had any interest in it.
