Im one of the people who played for a month and bitched about the lack of content the game had. I uninstalled it and havent really thought about it since. With its first expansion out and HoW being released soon, im curious. Has much changed with the game since its launch. Is there alot more content and things to do to occupy my time? Or should i even bother reinstalling and picking up the dlcs. This question is directed at those with similar experiences as mine. Thanks for any input

I'm really looking forward to Prison of Elders, I think bungie has really tried to make the game as good as it was hyped. I would just buy house of wolf's only and get dark below if you like raiding

8 RepliesI'm one of the spoiled kids who played for a month and bitched about the lack of content the game had because mummy didn't smack me enough as a child. I uninstalled it and went back to minecraft. With its first expansion out and HoW being released soon, i am jealous. Has much changed with me as a person since its launch? Am I mature enough to do other things now instead of playing a game to death then moaning about it? Is there any reason whatsoever that anyone should reply to this thread?? Or should i just -blam!- off back to minecraft? This question is directed at those who are spoiled little bitches like myself... Thanks to my mom for the snickers and doritos.

I quit after the expansion. Waste of time if you ask me. You could spend the time on family, work, or relaxing in front of netflix, and it would be much better spent.

Wait until Comet, they might make a game of the year edition then, and you will have all 3 dlc

Thanks for all the feedback guys. I might wait a few more months to see if its worth going back to

I had it since beta....i stopped playing as I got all the exotics and so on. Dlc dropped and my god when it dropped I haven't put it down since. And with the other one only a week away and the stream on Destiny's twitch page I guarantee you will love this game again

Come back get the dlc and I promise you won't be disappointed, this game is always evolving aswell as it's community that never seise to amaze me with their support and generosity, this game will continue to grow and will always have new things to do or strive for, I love this game and have met some top guys who I would have never of spoke too because of destiny, yeah don't get me wrong destiny has it's flaws but it's always getting better, I think a lot of other players will agree that people they have met through the game they now play with on a regular basis! If your on ps4 and decide to come back I'd be happy to help you out.

Edited by Sas: 5/9/2015 6:34:58 PMMy experience isn't similar, as I'm one of the Christmas noobs. But what's changed since my arrival is merely tweaks like weapon changes, bug fixes, other bugs added, crucible has changed a bit. As for pve it's the normal Nightfalls, weeklies and raids if you want or need to do those. HoW basically brings a new pve game mode, a new pvp game mode, some new features like reforging your gear, but end of the day you'll obviously end up doing nf, weeklies, the prison of Elders and your trials of osiris, and raids for exotics if you need to or want to. So a bit more per week, but as with any such type of game it's repetitive. Personally I play for pvp mainly, so for me that is quite enough for the time I can devote to the game per week. For a player who can do 5+ days of gaming you'll probably find it repetitive again faster. Thst being said, the expansions don't really cost much and should give you enough to do for the money invested, given that you're a fan of the game I at its core.

2 RepliesEdited by CarpentryHero: 5/9/2015 6:26:45 PMThis game will have fixed it to the easiest growth path than ever before, with two raids, prison of elders arena, pvp tournaments and strikes, theirs lots to do but you still need to grind. Putting hundreds of hours in to get the really great weapons and gear. The game will really open up when you get to level 30. Only you know you, do you have the patience and time to get to the end game content

I took a look at the amount of stuff their putting in over the year. Seems worth it.

Outside of PvE the main focus for the game has always been PvP. Aside from the raid and nightfalls, there isn't all that much else to do. HoW should add some needed revamps and longevity to the game, but in all honesty outside of tweaks to game modes and some ui enhancements it's not all that different. Maybe it's not for you.

1 ReplyNot really, they pretty much focused on ironing out bugs, glitches, balanced guns and add small features like a proper volume control, being able to lock gear so you cant dismantle them by mistake etc.

1 ReplyImo TDB didn't add anything worthwhile, if anything made it feel like there was less to do. There aren't many people out there that can give you an informed opinion on HoW because it's not out yet.
