In this world, having an opinion and being able to articulate it is the worst thing you can do. I've learned that with this crowd, less is more. We're not in college anymore. That was a long time ago. The real world is a lot more pathetic.

It's fine to have an opinion. The problem with you and all people like you, is you get horribly offended when someone has an opinion that contrasts your own be it offensive or not. An opinion is not fact, it is merely your thoughts on a matter. Yes, this word has a history of being used as a slur. Will getting pissy about it and demanding people stop using it or else your kids should get AIDS be an appropriate response? No. You come off as a raving lunatic and nobody really wants to associate themselves with you cause you're kind of a dick and not fun to be around. People like me find your hypocrisy funny and call you on it, and then you get more pissy (which in turn creates more fun for me ;p). You find that people that disagree with you, no matter what their reason, even if it's true, are wrong and that you are the only beacon of light in a sea of darkness. Anybody else that disagrees is too straight or a white guy and can't understand how being called a name sucks. You don't understand that it's not the word, but the context and that all people, including straight and white men, have been called an insulting name. Most people brush it off as a douche being a douche and are satisfied that they are a much better person than the douche. People like you throw a bitch fit, find everything about it offensive, and make damn sure that everyone knows how offended you are. Has the point sunk in yet? Social justice warriors pretend to be these great people, but they only meet hate with more hate to reach their end goals. They create a haze of hatred for everyone that does not 100% agree with them. They start stereotyping people themselves (case in point being your comment about white people at the end of your post). In the end, they accomplish very little and make themselves look like jackasses. Yes, OP, people that use -blam!- as an insult are a bunch of dumbasses. People that act offended on behalf of other people and then meet hateful comments with more hateful comments, are also dumbasses.

You see a horribly offended person. I see a person who is willing to admit what is real, as I've come to understand it via my real life experiences.
