In 2008 Caifirornia voted to deny gays the right to marry. California! The most lib state on planet earth. Those people are gonna give you your rights?
I also find it hilarious that you want to fight for your rights along side men that would absolutely be offended by your above comments.

You live in a country where the silent majority hates your lifestyle and thinks you're an abomination, yet you think they're going to just hand over your right to marry and ruin the picturesque society they've created? Did you listen to the recent arguments in the Supreme Court on this issue? You know they're considering it, right? Did you hear the Chief Justice of the U.S. speak on the issue? If you think I'm doing this because I don't have gay people that are close to me who have convinced me one way or another, you're not seeing the motivation. Just so you know, the Supreme Court used a slippery slope comparing your marriage to your potential wife as the action that eventually leads to our society sanctioning marriages between people and animals. First of all, you didn't answer my question. Second, if someone doesn't like that I'm gay they say it to my face and I no longer consider them a friend. No one talks shit behind my back because my generation (and maybe yours) is way more accepting of homosexuality than any other. Do you know how many dirty looks I've received walking around my college campus while I'm holding my girlfriends hand? Very, very few. Do you know how many I get when I'm holding her hand around the mall? A hell of a lot more and they aren't from people my age. Society is progressing and if you want to pick at the little words people use then you're going to go insane. The people on these forums aren't who you need to talk to because the majority of these forums are not against homosexuality. Go talk to people at your local mall because I can guarantee you they are more homophobic than any 16-30 year old on these forums.

Using a mall and using a college campus is going to paint your point in the best light possible. Colleges are mind-opening factories, and it's literally uncool in that environment to be discriminatory against gays. And by that I mean, it is socially unacceptable.
