(Note: This is an honest comparison between the underpowered Gally and the respectable Norfleet.)
Time to lay out the facts:
The Gjallarhorn is significantly worse than any Rocket Launcher I have ever seen in any game.
Not only is the damage laughable, the pitiful amount of "wolf pack" rounds it fires reminds me of a marshmallow gun.
In order to make the most sense possible out of this post, I will compare it to one of the best Rocket Launchers I have ever seen: The Norfleet. from Borderlands 2.
Let's make out the comparisons:
Norfleet:
Deals massive damage in an extremely large radius.
Carries significantly more ammo than the Gjallarhorn.
Can instantly kill user if incompetent.
Can be used in association with Slag, an elemental variant, instantly killing bosses.
Fires several projectiles at once, each possessing amazing damage potential.
Deals extremely large amounts of DoT, in several different elements.
Ammo is plentiful and can be regened nearly instantly with the right equipment.
Blast can be nullified if wearing certain equipment.
HAS A MUCH HIGHER CHANCE OF DROPPING FROM SPECIFIC ENEMIES RATHER THAN RELYING SOLELY ON RNG
Gjallarhorn:
Deals low damage to bosses unless paired with several others.
Has homing projectiles that split after intial impact.
Homing rounds do minimal damage.
Can instantly kill user in many scenarios.
Relies on Burns to do extra damage.
Ammo is rare, and often only found from dead enemies. Worthless on bosses.
ONLY COMES IN ONE ELEMENTAL VARIANT.
Based on the previous findings, including a list of pros and cons for each, I have found that the Gjallarhorn is significantly worse than the Norfleet.
You cannot argue with this.

Lol, this butthurt desticles reported this because their retarded brains can't handle the truth. Pro tip: get a life and stop being such sensitive autists.
-
Now we will compare apples and oranges.
-
I can argue. Ur a fget m8. Argue complete.

10 RepliesThey're completely different games, you are a dumbass
-
5 RepliesThis guy is clearly not a year one player. Gjallarhorn was nerfed to bring the damage of wolfpack rounds down and it wasn't even brought through into year 2, so of course it's attack value will be crap. Back in year 1 it was named as a 'boss melter' by many players.
-
12 RepliesEveryone know the R.Y.N.O is the best rocket launcher.

Edited by Soybean: 10/25/2015 7:02:04 AMHaha, I remember this post from the moment you posted it xD. It's funny to see so many people thinks you are a yr 2 player. Edit: necrobump c:

Pfft "Norfleet", "Gjallarhorn". What a bunch of scrub ass weapons Serious, sit your happyass ass down if you think they're even remotely good. I mean come on, rocket launchers, seriously? Be original game developers. Does tons of damage? Boring. Can split into a bunch of rockets? I'm snoring! The real deal is a hypothetical gun that can shoot Tzar Bombas like a machine gun. Boom beat that! (Here's s comparison http://www.atomicheritage.org/sites/default/files/Nuclear%20Comparison.jpg)

Bullshit ghorn was the best but because of this update it outdated it
-
Why are you comparing a rocket from Destiny to a one from borderlands
-
5 RepliesYou're stupid, you know that? Two completely different games. That's like saying let me compare the ghjallahorn to a 25 kill streak in MW2 and just end the game. A nuke beats whatever the -blam!- a Borderlands is
-
1 ReplyGr8 b8 m8
-
3 RepliesGo back to borderlands then
-
1 ReplyAre you seriously comparing a year 1 gun with a Borderlands gun, why????? Besides, not many people use the gally anymore since it got nerf'd and has a level cap on it.
