They don't even compare. I've had both since Crota day 3, and use both of those more than any other heavies in the game... But a fully upgraded Thunderlord knocks every other HMG right out of the -blam!-ing universe. Use it and you'll see. Probably the best exotic non-primary in the game. It's the skill based Gjallarhorn.
