Why do you set your profile as 'Offline'?
I see so many people play with their profile being offline. I did it myself because of hatecomments, but why do you do it?

So certain people don't bother you

I'm set as offline when I'm not playing.

When I feel like doing my own thing I turn it to offline because I have friends that will spam invites until I join.

If I'm on just to run bounties then I set it to offline don't wanna be that asshole that ignores party and game invites from friends.

Play solo without having to tell my friends I don't want to talk to them

Because I like raiding like 4 or 6 Times a week not a thousand, used to be really into helping people in raids but after a while it's just like I need a break lol

I don't remember setting it private on purpose. However i just don't care to change settings because the bungie page looks shit on my ipad and when i work on my pc ... Well, then i don't have time to do it / don't think of it

8 RepliesPeople I don't like to play with, keep jumping into my game, or Xbone chat. Figuered out the chat feature where you can set it to private, or at least invite only. So at least I don't have to talk to them. However I have no clue how to lock out my fireteam when I'm solo. I know it can be done. I saw a lvl7 rookie the other day by himself with a fireteam set to private. I even tried to youtube it, but people can still jump in even after I changed the setting.

I usually get invites to raids that I've already done and don't wanna do them again cause I'm doing bounties or something (most the times I help) and I don't wanna delete people on my list

Because I don't want to run sword for someone who can't do it. Also sometimes it's good to just not talk and just chill online with randoms.

2 RepliesI wish this worked on XBone! It has no effect in Destiny. I hate going to the Tower between 4pm and 8pm. Can't do my business without getting 15 dang invites. And many post multiple invites! Stop it!

7 RepliesThats why I love the PS and its easy options Open - Sure join me if ya want Friends Only - If your on my list then join in Invite Only - Send a msg but I may be busy Closed - Doing solo stuff, dont have time to commit or just not in the mood for people.
