Did you cheat thorn bounty? Poll
Hey guys I wanted to see how many thorn wielders got theirs legit. And by cheating I mean getting people to let you kill them on exchange for them killing you or carrying them or another favor.lag switching or host stealing is also cheating.please comment why you did or did not below!

i got a rare void fusion rifle before the nerf and got it done in a few matches

No I was legit, when you a a void walker wielding a void shotgun and being decent, I got in done.

Did mine in like 9 control matches. It looks more trouble than it's worth trying to boost this bounty. From what I've seen people of try boosting just get destroyed lol

I went very slowly at first, maybe got to 115 points in about 10 games but then joined a clan and completed the rest of the bounty in a couple of nights playing control with them to practice for ib. It helped a lot!

I did it legit. With atheons epilouge since at that time it was my only void weapon. And this was after the ar nerf. Thorn is now my fav gun not because of its power. But due to the struggle i went through to get it

Edited by Selenophobia: 5/8/2015 7:54:04 PMIt wasn't hard to get... I just used my void LDR with the same rolls as the stock one and field scout and got the kills easy that way... I think it took me around 2 hours to beat the full bounty and only about 45 minutes for the pvp portion

It took me 9 hours to do it with a blue sniper and blue machine gun

I was able to complete the whole thorn bounty in 3 hours solo each part Crucible I used bronze Chasma Esc void which is great for a rare shotgun

I used a blue void sniper rifle and a deviant gravity. Played like a coward. Camped and hid for a couple hours until the bastard was mine.

I used the epilogue back when it was badass.

I just finished the final part of the Thorn bounty solo. Took about an hour. I used every trick in the book. It was a rush, but VERY tedious. I know have my Thorn though. :3

I'm not great at crucible, mostly because I don't play it a lot but did it legit in about 17 games, not that difficult

I used to hate crucible, mainly because I sucks at it. I had a couple friends help me grind through the first 2/3 of the void kill points in rumbles, then finished the last 3rd on my own. Between that, the bad juju bounty & Iron Banner I eventually learned to love it and went on to do the Invective bounty as well.

I have done this 7 times. My first 3 times was with the Plug one fusion rifle, on my hunter, before the fusion rifle nerf. Done it 3 times with a void Two to the Morgue. I like doing this bounty, definitely one of my favorite exotic bounty to do.

Played control Used a blue Void fusion rifle and Zombie Apocalypse also void. Camped a control point and killed anyone that came for the flag. Point and dance at the ghost, teabag if you like. They get mad and come right back. Rinse and repeat. The PvP part was easy. This was my first exotic bounty back when I got this gane at launch. So the PvE part was hard as hell being a low level Guardian.
