Destiny vs. Halo vs. Killzone vs. Other
Which do you guys like more and why?
Honestly I think Halo will always be my favorite video game series(we don't talk about 4).
Borderlands is also up there, I played countless hour of the second one but didn't get the pre sequel because it looked like a glorified DLC.
So let me know your preference and why.
P.s. Let's try to avoid arguing about systems.

Kill Zone has stunning graphics, great gameplay. The lore is pretty good with an original rivalry. There's a lot of fans behind it too.

Prefer the KillZone universe over destiny,halo. The best universe is Star Wars though.

5 RepliesFor FPS gameplay, Destiny and Rage (and earlier id games). Borderlands 1 for its vibe and originality. Killzone 1 for its realistic weapon handling. Op Flashpoint series for overall realism. Plenty of others just for fun (eg. Bulletstorm, Wolfenstein, Far Cry series).

1 ReplyHalo prided itself on a massive universe and it's competitive multiplayer and lived up to those for a while. Killzone prided itself on changing shooters on the playstation and providing a more stable experience than CoD. Dunno how that went. Destiny prides itself on copying all the tried and tested mechanics of games before it and making them work wonderfully, while taking all the tried and failed aspects of MMO's before it and trying to make it seem like Bungie wasn't trying to force the Star Block into the Triangle Hole. Status pending.

Even then that entire game is amazing the bro ship the ups the downs, the decisions, I cannot think how else to say it other then bio ware rocked that game series better then any series to date as far as story and game mechanics go. You want guns and bruisers=soldier, you want magic=adept, you want technology=sentinel, you want stealth=infiltrator. It's too damn good, plus Miranda(dat ass) and jack(really hoped she had bigger part in 3) how can you go wrong. Edited for spelling

Longtime halo fan, it has been my main pvp title since halo 1, good story to go with it as well, I have every halo game. I'm not so sure about halo 5, didn't like what I saw in the Beta, I personally think the pvp in halo 4 was one of the funnest and most balanced I've every played, and I loved having custom loadouts and armor abilities. Killzone is definately one of my fave shooters, I originally got it cause I had a ps2 but no xbox, but wanted to get better at fps for when I played halo with my friends, was severely disapointed with the story for shadow fall, I have xbox 1 for most games and PS4 for the exclusives, mainly killzone and ratchet and clank. Titanfall and Gears are the other shooters I've really loved beyond destiny.

I have all of the killzone games and think the story is great for the first three. The fourth was ok, but not as good as the rest. If I could have destiny with a killzone style story, that would be fuking awesome.
