Does anyone use auto rifles anymore?

My abyss defiant sits in the top left corner of my vault because it never gets used anymore.

Yeah, Abyss for NFs against Wizards and the sort and Suros for raids. It's not as powerful as it once was but its still good enough. Good range, regenerates health during Presence of Crota, good crowd control on VoG, hell, I even do better on PvP when I use Suros as opposed to a hand cannon. Then again, I'm not as good with hand cannons as I am with rifles.

1 ReplyMy Titan is stacked with Auto Rifle reload speed/ammo perks, and I primarily run my Silimar's Wrath in both PVP [i]and[/i] PvE. I figured get good with a weapon that isn't a total crutch, that way when patch notes come around buffing those poor auto rifles my bucket of guardian tears will overfloweth once again :)

2 RepliesMy Up For Anything used to be my go to gun, but I dismantled it cuz now it's a potato launcher, it kinda hurts, but you can walk it off. At least I got a telemetry and 6 ascendant energies. I'm a MIDA guy now

I have tried in PvP, but they struggle in their "intended role" CQB with an AR should be a no brainer, but in a one on one you get owned by everything currently. It isn't worth the frustration. If you liked using ARs in PvP grab Bad Juju, Oversould Edict or the Stranger Rifle - guns that argue strongly that the AR nerf was not fully thought through.

The only one i use every so often is hard light during pvp. For some reason i still do pretty well with it.

Nope! Have almost 30,000 kills with them early on but the continued nerfs makes them unusable.

Very rarely. I rock the suros ocasionally when i get bored of gunslinging and pulsing.

Silimar's Wrath fully reforged andupgraded is good in PvE

atheons epilogue for void burns i love the AD but it feels underwhelming in solar burns

I had a blast levelling my Hard Light a few weeks back. Apart from that there has been no other reason to use one.

It's rare that I ever do use auto rifles, I just never really liked them. Only the Epilogue for void burns.

I keep an Abyss Defiant on all three of my characters. Great in TDB content.
