OK OK let me explain, just because you have the #Gjallarhorn ( the GAT ) or you #level32 doesn't make you a player.
1. Gjallarhorn can drop during just about any type of game play not just from doing #RAIDS.
2. Reaching Level 32 has become so easy ever since the dark below was introduced.
Because of this, I personally enjoy playing with just about anyone but not everyone plays like me. How would you know if the person you are playing with can hold his own during game play?
#bungie should instead of doing matchmaking by player level, should consider matchmaking by grimoire score by -10 +10 this way you know you got someone who plays just as hard as you do.
If i go in solo, my grimoire score is 2810, noone less then 2800 or higher then 2820 should be selected during my matchmaking. If none is found, then the lowest that should be considered should be 2700.
EDIT: For those who prefer to care less for the grimoire score, just keep in mind, it only mean you grind every part of the game and have PUT in A LOT of hours.

1 ReplyGrimoire doesn't really mean much when it can be gotten without firing a shot standing next to people. I've gotten grimoire for kills as a hunter while using my titan for example. Wish it was accurate though.

1 ReplyI think ur just a different kind or jelly/light level elitist. Its matchmaking, not ever will it be perfect. Have fun, do ur best w who u get. Use the forums. Or, form a fireteam of people u enjoy playing with and skip the match making.

1 ReplyGrimoire does not imply skill level. Just how much of the game you have completed. Given enough time and support even a player that is a complete tool can get to 2800 grimoire.

2 RepliesThis is one of the worst ideas I have seen on this forum. Grimore score means close to nothing in this game when determining a players skill level. Getting a Grimore score that high is a pretty tedious thing to do as it requires you to use all 3 characters as well as collect things such as ghosts. For example we need to kill about 2500 ogres. Just because someone has killed over 2500 ogres does not mean they are better than someone because they have only killed 1800 ogres.

5 RepliesGrimoire score means almost absolutely nothing. If someone's score is under 1,000 then u can assume that they dont know everything about the game. They might need a little extra help. But they can still be good players.

That's one Hell of a narrow window. I do like the idea though.

Edited by LONE RONIN2012: 5/7/2015 5:03:01 PMBecause no bad players get weapon drops or raid. I have a lower Grimoire score, but better strike and story stats. Yet, I'm the bad PvE player? Your idea is just as elitist as a 32 only group. Or a no Gjallarhorn, no play group.

I'm -blam!-ing awesome, just add me for guaranteed success.

7 RepliesSo based on how many ghosts you bothered to find. Lol no terrible idea

2 RepliesO_o. Score doesn't mean everything....

1 ReplyI'm just going to keep it simple and play with competent people on my friends list. There are only about 20 GOOD guardians among my 150+ friends. These are people I don't need to carry. People that don't constantly die. People that use the RIGHT weapons for the job. Trust me, because this is going to require some competence, it's going to take a LOT of time for the majority of people in this game to get endgame stuff. Oh man, I can't wait to see the crybabies who will say this stuff is too hard.

OP is an idiot!

It's a cool idea but I feel it's too greedy. I really don't mind helping lesser players out. On a side note my score is only 2450ish only because I refuse to cheat to find my ghosts. But as a player I have all max 32's and every weapon in the game (exotic and raid) maxed out. I also hold a 1.2-1.5 K/D in crucible. With that said; I would never be matched with "better players". So I guess I wouldn't mind.

Edited by Gu4rdi4n Down: 5/7/2015 5:03:16 PMGrimoire means little in regards to how "good" a team player you are, it's just a way of showing your completions in the game.. Even a poor player can have a high grimoire score, cards are given like candy.

7 RepliesEdited by BAOH76: 5/7/2015 4:58:17 PMSo you are here just to show us your Grimoire points ? O_o My Grimoire points it's 2580 but i can do Raid,Nightfalls,Strike...Grimoire points does not demonstrate your level player.
