I wouldn't say it's dead, it's just boring. Once you've done the raids over 20 times or so, have done every story mission and strike, you have the weapons you want what else is there to do? I took a 3 month break because of my job, was excited to hop back on and start playing again only to realize that nothing has changed. Yeah they fixed bugs, I can now hold more shit in my vault, and now I have the option to wear my helmet in the tower. Wow so exciting. Don't get me wrong I've put my time in this game, but I've only come to realize that it's just straight vanilla. No in depth story for each race/ class. Stats really don't matter. Everyone looks the same with the raid gear. Like what is there to do? Tell me. It's boring. I'll buy the new DLC yes, but I'm sure after I play it and done everything I can do in it I'll be bored again. This game had the opportunity to be one of the greatest in history, sadly it fell 10 miles short. I want to love this game like I did but I can't anymore.
