The hype over this gun is pathetic. All because of an exploding round perk. Scout rifles are better in every way.
Edit: when I say "exploding round perk" I'm referring to "firefly". That one perk is nothing special...
Yes I have very few raid completions, raiding is tedious and is something of a chore to do. I mainly play pvp.
So it's good for arc nightfalls and that's it. Cool.
The people who love fatebringer clearly haven't used hawkmoon.
Its also a really ugly gun, who enjoys holding an ugly gun?
Also fatebringer is only good if enemies are grouped together. So it's a situational gun at best.

Fatebringer is literally the best perk roll you can have on a PvE gun, and it's a hand cannon. You're argument is invalid. Also you used myth wrong.

Fatebringer is a vog weapon that Imo is a priceless piece of hardware in the middle of that raid. Fatebringer can lay down some serious pain. I use fb way more than I use hawkmoon. Hm Imo is a toy to play with sort of like the necro. Pvp might be different but in pve Fatebringer Imo is king

3 Replies1. Fatebringer is a legendary which means you can wield g-horn or icebreaker something you cant do with hawkmoon. 2. Explsive rounds dealing area of effect damage every hit. 3. Firefly dealing massive damage around an area especially is crotas end on lamps phase. 4. 92 impact on the fatebringer which is the second highest impact on legendary handcannons. 5. Outlaw everytime you kill an enemy with a crit you get increase reload speed. 6. Awesome perks and outstanding stats for a handcannon. Bottom line is you a scrub lord. ;)

Not at all. It's a hand cannon and the firefly perks makes it amazing. The explosion caused firefly is relative to the impact of the gun, therefore fate bringer, being a hand cannon... Can cause a lot of damage with the firefly perk.. Even if you don't kill the enemies with that firefly perk they are weak and can be taken out easily...

3 RepliesThere are many reasons why Fatebringer is amazing. To start: It is the only Handcannon to have Firefly. Before you say, "Well scout rifles have it too!" It isn't even the same. With a scout rifle, it almost always takes 2-3 head shots to even kill Tier 2 enemies like Acolytes or Hobgoblins. Fatebringer kills them in one shot. It's a legendary, with the feel of an exotic. It's ability to not only kill in one headshot, explode the enemy after the kill, and the ability to reload at lightning fast speed after the kill, show what a gun this is. Not only that, but it's Arc damage make killing Fallen, and Knights even faster. Fatebringer has the biggest clip and reserve ammo a handcannon can hold. Not only this, but it's range is also one of the longest a handcannon can have. Looking at Fatebringer's stats show that it has high impact (which is good), high range (also good), decent stability (which isn't that bad on handcannons as you won't be spamming them as much as a scout or auto rifle), one of the highest aim assists on handcannons (which is a big plus), and it has a lower reload speed then many other handcannons (which is made up for with Outlaw). Fatebringer is the best gun for almost every situation. There is no arguing with that as it's higher stats for handcannons make it the best in its class, it is a legendary allowing for Ice Breaker or Gjallarhorn, and it's extremely high crowd control. Fatebringer isn't for everyone, that's for sure. I know people who have three and still prefer their VoC or Abyss Defiant. However, it is the best all around primary gun in the game. Not only does it allow for use of an exotic, not only does it have the best stats a handcannon can have, not only does it's arc damage make it even better, but it also can be upgraded to 365 soon, allowing everyone to finally agree that Fatebringer is THE BEST primary weapon in the entire game. Also, just because the weapon is ugly to you, doesn't mean it's ugly to everyone.

True, its a myth. And a legend.

I love how OP only replies to hate comments, but ignores the one comment giving a long, thought out answer. What's the matter, can't have an intelligent conversation with someone?
-
PvE - yeah it is an optimal primary weapon, but as far as I'm concerned it doesn't have a place in PvP.
-
1 ReplySomeone is salty they don't have it

Ever used a fatebringer in the abyss? Scout rifles are trash.. I love my hawkmoon and use it the most.. But fatebringer is a great back up for when gally or icebreaker need to make an appearance

5 RepliesYou are the epitome of stupidity. What the -blam!- was running thought your mind when you made this? Still mad about your dad touching you?

You can't compare hawkmoon and Hatebringer...

Looks like you forgot your satire hashtag bc without it you look like a dumb -blam!-

1 ReplyDon't care have 3 fatebringers use 90% of the time.

4 RepliesIt's a primary hc with arc that works really well. Firefly helps of course, as does its legendary status. Sure it's overhyped, but a lot of the good ones are. I don't have an arc scout that does what the fatebringer does. I'd rather have arc dmg than kinetic, because I'll have more use for any burn than no burn. For me, I'm taking fatebringer, Word of Crota and Vision of Confluence with me to 365 for burns and pve in general.
-
ok how many times have you been killed by one in Crucible?
-
Precision shots make targets explode and it arcs over and blows up enemies around that shit is and looks so bad ass u can take out a big ass mob with 1 shot
-
1 ReplyFatebringer has scout rifle perks, 12 rounds, hits like a handcannon and arc damage. Beautiful combination, why hate?
-
Fate bringer deals a lot of damage and it is arc
-
Firefly, not exploding rounds, I don't even use explosive rounds. It sounds like you don't have it...
-
4 RepliesIdk if you're a troll or an idiot. I guess I don't really care either way.

Firefly on a handcannon is god tier. The explosion damage is ridiculous.
