My instant thought: I can go all Tomb Raider on this shit lol.

EDIT 1: Thank you for bumping and liking this post :) I really like that people are positive, but really, the gun needs a little bit more impact..
EDIT 2: Wise words by RainKornKat
I have found a lot of people are concerned about Vestian Dynasty not doing much damage but I have a few reasons why I believe it will do more damage than most think.
Perks:
Some of the perks are fairly standard so I'll disregard them.
Disciplinarian: Deals bonus damage to Fallen
Reactive Reload: Reloading after a kill temporarily increases damage.
In addition it has:
Usurper: This weapon has a chance to suppress Fallen Captain abilities.
Performance Bonus which is simply- kills=ammo.
Considering it has Reactive Reload the damage is boosted by a fair bit and when you encounter Fallen the Disciplinarian perk will increase the damage output even more.
The weapon also deals Arc damage which will make it very useful when the Arc Burn modifier is on in PoE, Nightfalls or Weeklies.
The weapon will also be extremely effective in strikes such as: The Devils' Lair.
These are some of the reasons why I believe the weapon will do more damage than most people are expecting. Anyway we'll see in a few weeks.
Thanks for reading-RainKornKat

Wait... So is this replacing the 347 Vesta Dynasty?
-
The big question is how much ammo does it hold in reserve and how much ammo can you get from one box?
-
This may let me use universal remote a tad more...

3 shot kill on 35 knight. Pretty good

Did anyone else see "Dreg's Promise" as an Exotic Sidearm? It flashed up for a split second on Bungie's latest reveal video.
-
Perk 2 maybe spray and play given SnP and RR have the same icon and while SnP usually sits in the first slot given this is a unique weapon it may have custom perk setup RR makes sense given its insane reload speed but SnP would give it near insta reload and be awesome for just lighting things up

Was in trailer if u can even see it

It needs firefly, high caliber rounds, and spray and play.
-
What if that fallen shock pistol from that screenshot is also a sidearm?
-
Does less damage than a bubble blower. #truth
-
Awesomeness. And there's a fallen one also dreg something.
-
The kills= ammo perk isn't that perk. It's this weapon always spawn with ammo btw
-
Fallen exotic sidearm shows the first perk isnt performance bonus its a side arm specific perk of always respawns w ammo Way better

Finally, a perfect compliment to my No Land Beyond. Something to finish off an enemy if you miss the headshot. I love it.
-
Hopefully it's gonna be a weapon class with rare/ legendary variants and hopefully an exotic one too!

Edited by BenjyX55: 5/7/2015 8:27:39 PMPretty awesome. I can't wait. I hope they have some with more moderate fire rates.

1000!!! OHHHHHHH

Edited by WhatHityou: 5/7/2015 5:25:48 PMNow all we need is an exotic version of this called "Woo Johns dove wings" A dual wield sidearm secondary that has the exotic perk that when we hip fire on the move with it it gains accuracy and recoil control. When you get a kill with it the enemy explodes into a flock of doves damaging all around it and causing them to also explode if they are killed by the initial explosion. Just saying....I want that....I want that badly.
-
Also I've heard people mention it did about 1200 damage to a knight, so it's impact may not be as big of a deal as we think.
-
Edited by Dark Tankbuster: 5/7/2015 7:29:35 PMIt does not need more impact it has 15 rounds in the MAG and you can fire it as quickly as you can pull the trigger so if you have a quick finger trigger times that impact by 15 if you hit al shots
-
That Impact though.

More weapons means more loot to hunt for. And also to experiment with. I may put my Fusion Rifles on the gun rack and give these sidearms a try whenever I get the chance.

I just wish that is our characters would wear their whole load outs like in mass effect..would look awesome
