We get a watered down version (graphics wise etc.) because they are not going to relese 2 version of the game/dlc and currently they make more money making it last gen compatible. I mean you know their are games currently that are next gen only and that's because last gen wouldn't be able to handle them. I'm not a dev so I can't explain all the ins and outs but that's the plain and simple of it.

Okay so cope for one more DLC and bask in the next glory that will be next one. You gotta figure in what would happen to all us players who are last gen if Bungie abandoned us before end. Many would not keep with it even after we upgrade consoles. Yes it makes yall kinda less pretty. But from a business stand point its better to leave some disgruntled about a reasonable issue than to leave hundreds or even thousands unhappy and bitter and unwilling to buy into next part.

Agreed at some point tho games that come out on ps4 and xbone should be only for those console it's just progression it happend to ps2/xbox and is going to happen again

Exactly but Destiny was released too early in next gen time line and I think was advertised for both gens. The next one will be next gen only I can almost guarantee it.
