Been playing various games on a plasma for years without issue. Yeah there's some screen image retention after shutting games off (or when my kids leave the on demand menu on for half hour) but no actual permanent screen burn.

What TV do you have? The ones that have been affected more are about 4 year old or newer with 3d.

Maybe that's my "problem" . OMG i checked - mine is 10 years old. Funny that they re-introduced an issue that was apparently resolved by 2005

Yeah the trend I found through this thread is people with the high end newer plasmas with 3d are affected much worse. I don't know why but what's happening on this one game is bad. No other game with static huds gave me this issue. Anything retained goes away very quickly and easily. Not this game.
