An easy way to make raid matchmaking work.
Why not wait a month after each new raid comes out and when hard mode is released, open up normal mode to optional matchmaking.
At that point there are enough people who can lead people through, that 6 remotely competent people could complete them (not to mention all the videos of runs that exist by then).
You could even find a middle ground and make it so at least 3 people need to be in a fireteam already. The point is, there are solutions if you're willing to try to find them.
It's mind boggling that you wouldn't want everyone to experience that content, because [i]it's fun[/i]. Particularly Atheon with the teleporters and all the different mechanics.
Anyway, just my 2 cents. Bump if you agree.

Just make all activities have OPTIONAL matchmaking. It solves the problem, enhances the game, and eliminates yet another need for me to go outside the game to actually play the game.

1 ReplyThe LFG sites can work quickly or sometimes it takes more than a few attempts. When you are finding random people that way you can still find good and bad people to play with. It would be the same thing with MatchMaking except I would rather not have to do the little bit of extra work. Just pair me up with people!!!! I will friend request the ones I like and maybe not have to use matchmaking as often but I'd like to have it available as an option. It's always better to have your own fireteam but if the option doesn't impact those who don't want to use it then it just makes sense.

Honestly I just raid with my clan. I have tried to help out Randoms who blind invite me and always hated it. Either it's someone who feels the need to brag about how stoned/drunk they are, sing at the top of their lungs or just blame/criticize everyone else on the team. If I have other things I have to tend to (like my wife, kids , work etc) I have to get shit for it. I would not want a matchmaking at this point. Most people take this game way too seriously.

26 RepliesIt literally takes a person touching their phone on destinylfg.com to join a raid or anything else. You will be matched up in minutes. I can not believe people still can't do this.
