And that's not what's happening. You get to "eat" everything you paid for. Destiny, Dark Below, and House of Wolves. That's what you paid for. You can absolutely play all of that as much as you want. Nobody has paid for anything else so you can't complain that you're not getting what you paid for.

Also, I'm current gen. I'm stating this to fight for last gen bud.

So comet isn't a part of Destiny 1? You find somewhere that it is not, and I will gladly agree with you.
-
Comet is extra, optional content. If you paid for Destiny but didn't buy any DLC you still got what you paid for. Design choices and cut - backs have already been made in base game and 1.1 to find ways for things to even work on last gen. Comet is going to be gigantic. It'd be better for current gen if it didn't have to worry about being dragged down by something that can't handle what it can. I think Bungie should pull a RockStar. Allow people upgrading their consoles to keep their progress. If last gen users could play their current file on current gen I think that would alleviate pretty much most headaches. I can totally understand not wanting to lose progress. But last gen is holding this game back, and I don't think any of us want to see that.

Well if you insist. Just remwmber, next time you read a book, make sure you rip out the last 4 chapters of the book and burn it before you read it. Cheers mate!

Except I pay for an entire book. If I want any sequels or uncut editions I'll pay for them. See where you're going wrong with this?
-
Also with that logic, you would be dictating whether someone could buy it if they had a hard time reading the first part of the "book." Do you see the point being made? Dlc is like chapters to the story, you can't tell someone they can't continue with the story if they have difficulty with the content

It's still part of the story, the is no clear cut end to the game
