That wouldn't make the dlc better though
The game was made for both gens they'd have to completely remake the game for it to make any difference
I feel sorry for anyone stupid enough to think comet being current gen only would help anything

Doesn't matter Destiny works cross gen meaning dlc for destiny 1 will always be held back

They could take more advantage of the system. Implement new features that cannot be handled on newer systems, and lastly stop wasting resources on development and testing for 4 systems vice 2.

The game itself though wasn't made for current gen only so it still wouldn't help much They need to completely make destiny 2 from the ground up for ps4 and Xbox one Destiny 1 was originally made for last gen
