But after doing today's daily heroic it struck me how bored I was during the game and wished it was slightly more interesting like the weekly nightfall.
Considering how many times we redo these story missions they really need to add more variety to the modifiers. Here are a few of my ideas.
Invasion - An alternate enemy i.e. Vex on earth appear at random parts to keep you on your toes.
Frag- All grenades, enemies included, deal more damage and regenerate slightly faster.
Mirror - the story is played in mirror image, giving the illusion of a new play area.
Armorer - a particular type of weapon i.e. scout rifle gets a random boost like reload, range or impact. (this goes for enemy equivalent). I think this would encourage us to use different weapon types.
Dice - Adds a random modifier that will change each time the story is started from orbit. Meaning if you run 3 characters the daily would be slightly different each time.
Assassin- there will be an ultra that will spawn randomly and hunt you down. ( you can avoid it or kill it for a glimmer bonus)
Intel- a randomly generated loot chest that can give out mats and on rare occasions legendaries.
Handicap- no supers, Melee or grenade.
Spartans - less enemy but all enemy are now majors.
I appreciate some of the ideas are dumb and some might be hard to implement but if we're still running these stories next year I'd like to see some variation each day. I'd even take it that some days the odds will be in our favour and some days the enemies.
Just my opinion, I'd like to hear yours.

Hope you're planning on making rewards better. Really don't feel like going through crap just to get a couple of shards/energy and a blue.
