Don't see anything wrong with trading. Some people have lives and wish that Destiny didn't require so much dedication.

Trading of items obtained after a raid/strike within the fireteam would be great.

Open trading, don't limit it because elitists want their guns to be rare. I have every exotic weapon except Plan C/PlayStation exclusives and I don't have a problem with my exotics becoming less rare. Scrap Xur and add trading, I'm sure elitists would still cry claiming they "earned" their weapons without trading. If you win the lottery you have the right to give your earnings away or trade it for equal value. RNG is basically the lottery for Destiny players but unfortunately we cannot share our winnings or trade them, nope we just have to scrap them if they're useless. Also if you win the lottery you only earn the money to buy the ticket nothing else is earned after that, same with destiny you only buy the game no exotic earned.

Lol I said that trading posts got under my skin...so you post something about trading?...other people would just remove your post, but I'm not a tool so I won't. I kinda get your whole lottery thing EXCEPT that you aren't giving away your winnings. They have to give something back. If it's strange coins you get, might as well where a hood and only play on the weekends lol (do ya really wanna be a xur?) And if it's trading other weapons of same rarity. A NLB does not=ghorn or red death. Just seems a little cheap I guess.

Literally almost nobody wants an NLB...and Xur sells it all the time.

He sold it once and I wanted the NLB it's good gun stock. I had two horns and desperately wanted it in the end I broke one down and found the NLB in a nightfall
