Well I honestly didn't expect Halo 3 Recon after the pwnage over anyone asking for Recon armor but over at Teamxbox.com they're saying that you wear the Recon armor through out the game.... no I'm not the biggest halo fan in the world (I'm only 165lbs, I mean come on) but that armor was the ODST armor not the Recon, from what it seems they've got it wrong over there. Maybe if you buy Halo 3 Recon, it will unlock the Recon armor in Halo 3... (no evidence to support that at this time, just a dream ;) ;) ) Can't wait to learn more about the game, weather or not its a whole new game or based off of Halo 3. I think this is a wise direction for bungie to take the game even though I'd love to see the master chief again, may S117 rest in peace where ever he is.

"This is what I was thinking when I looked at this. The gun is an SMG but with many modifications. Probably made to fire longer range and made for stealth. The campaign is in the city were the 2 game started and the ship jumped into hipper space. The trailer starts with a camera looking at the drop pods coming in and the cameras say mbaraki in the corner (might be the name of an AI). You see the Hells Jumpers drop pod come in and hit the city Lumumba. when the dust clears the cams say Accessing UNSC Database and lets time go by (this might indicate that you were out cold or have a timed wake up for the missions so there at night.) however the Lights all come on in the streets except when the cam see's a drop ship. This will be in the game. When you are near a covey the AI turns of the Lights to warn you. In the video you have some way of seeing the targets in the dark and they light up red. Then one looks at you and keeps moving. In his hand is a portable fuel rod gun that looks like a small version. Then the ODST goes out into the street. Look at the Lights and signs all telling him that this way is safe and he needs to go that way." I was thinking the same thing about the AI helping you while in the city. excause may may any one please clarify this for me ok you say that this is going to be a new game... yet on halo 3 acheivment sit shows the skulls and achievements ment for the mythic map pack (which i assume is halo 3 recon).... i was wondering if this is some sort of big Add On that you have to buy a disc for that is for halo 3 or if it is a new game completely and we have to start all over again on getting our armors. i personally hope that it is just a add on thing and not a whole new game i don't want to have to work to get armor over again. I bet there will be a Hell Jumper edition of this game.... and it will come with an ODST helmet! But seriously i like the direction bungie is taking with this game its more gritty .

Thank you Bungie for going for something different. You could have just had a spartan, but this is so much better with ODSTs.
