But i think what would make the game better is being able to cover and blind fire, like in '[i]Gears of War[/i]' and '[i]Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas[/i]'. That has got to be a standard in all FPS games now. What would also be awesome is having weapon upgrades like in '[i]CoD4[/i]' and, again, '[i]Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas[/i]', that would be sweet. But Bungie, please, please, PLEASE, put in the ability to cover and blind fire, that could of made '[i]Halo 3[/i]' SO much better... maybe even better than '[i]Portal[/i]', and that is saying something! After reading through this: http://halo.wikia.com/wiki/ODSTs I actually thought of some things that would be great to see in the new game! - ODSTs suits allow 15 minutes in space (a pod maybe gets hit by something, and the character has to survive 15 minutes or less in space before he is retrieved) - An insertion level, where you actually "SEE" the insertion, from inside the pod, "experience" the heat from breaking the athmosphere and other stuff. - Their suits has heating and cooling systems to mask the infrared signature of the wearer (this could be utillized in a mission where enemies might be using infrared vision) - Tensions between ODSTs and Spartans (as we know that Johh-117 had an encounter with four ODSTs in a gym, where he killed two and injured two) - Combat knife for close combat and silent kills (In Halo 2 you can see a Combat Knife on the back of an ODST) Anyone with thoughts on thos?

I was hoping that there would be some new wepons and maybe be able to play as the covenant and odst in multi player.

Your saying that there will not be any new weapons or anything added to competitive matchmaking? I was hoping for a little more. The matchmaking experience needs something fresh. You guys should introduce a new weapon similar to the battle rifle to replace the assault rifle. If not, you should do away with the assault rifle altogether. I am excited about the Recon campaign but introducing the ODST's as well as new weapons and balance of maps into matchmaking would be just what fans are craving for. Hopefully you will RECONsider.

So does this mean we get to fight Elites again? Although even if we don't, I have no doubt that this will be a game that runs on sheer awesome.

It has its own set of achievements as well. enjoy.

Yeah, it's kinda meh, but it was no accident. They've been conditioning us to react to that word for the better part of a year. I mentioned the name to one of my more astute friends and the first thing he said was "Ha! They're milking us!" Odd thing to do considering we already love the game. I guess I can't speak for everyone but it feels a little condescending. I'm a fan, not a test subject. [Edited on 10.10.2008 11:43 PM PDT]

I have a question about the expansion, as most of the community has already seen the ODST was holding a new type weapon that non of us have ever seen before so can you shead some light as to what it is and other info about it.

i have a few questions too: 1: when i went to download the teaser trailer it says that my account isn't permitted to watch this video for this rating, how do i change that so i can watch it? 2:when i got the newest trailer u guys sent me and the other, i went to marketplace to download it to see if i CAN download this vid but it wasn't there and the other teaser trailer was gone too wats up with that! the question i want most to be answered would be the first one. thx bungie if u can answer my questions ^_^

I just have a couple of questions. #1: who is this guy? #2 is he the main character? #3: Will there be differen tgameplay? #4: is this a side story or does it connect withthe curretn new Mombvasa? #5: is this 1st or 3rd person? These are just some of the major questions I want to ask Shishka and many more but the main question is " will it include Master chief in any way?'
