I am seriously thinking that the dual wielding Brute means that a new character model is in the new game/thing/whatever... does anyone else think this? Okay, about the spartan 3's, the last we saw of them was inside the Forunner "Shield World" (Onix) so I do not think they will appear any time soon... For those of you discussing Spartan 1's, I really have no idea what they are so please fill me in!

Awsome can't wait, and ill be out of marine boot camp by that time, but i might still miss it because ill be in engineering traing for a year but i think i get my own room if so than i will be so getting the update or new game whatever it might be. REMEBER MARINES FOR LIFE!!!!

alright first of all mander u need to chill alittle this is gonna be awesome but they have said thay are working on 3 projects not all halo related soo ya and something else i noticed in the traile is that the SI is like helping our ODST buddy like with the keeep right and proceed with caution signs at the end og the trailer i cant wait to see how the integrate all of our little budie the SI

What is with you guys clinging to Halo 3? Come on Bungie, don't you have the guts to come out with a new title? Like you guys said they're wouldn't be a Halo 4, so you're just going to come out with another Halo 3? It doesn't make any sense- it's like you're just feeding off your own hit title. I don't find this story appealing at all. I want to find out what happens to the Chief- I want a complete overhaul with new characters, new graphics and new enemies. I want to see what happens next, not a different version of what's happened already. From what I gather, this is just a marines account of what happened during the same time when the plot of Halo 3 occured. If so I'm disappointed and would wish that you would stop what you're doing and continue the chief's story instead- but I know that'll never happen. Just release the Mythic Map Pack (which is looking to be awesome) and then drop Halo 3 and leave it alone. Still keep up with the community and update playlists but stop wasting your time building more stuff that just expands Halo 3, because soon the graphics are going to be too far behind the other games that are going to be released and you're not going to draw a big crowd. And if you don't want to continue the Chief's story then come up wih another videogame entirely. Heck, I even got a couple of ideas for games that could be hits under a completely different category. You guys have good writers so use them and come up wih something new. Just Do It Bungie

If you have read the text message a few weeks ago you would know that the Captain was talking to a "man" Referring to him as a S1. I think this is a Spartan 1 model. That's why the SI couldn't tell it was ODST, and that's why ONI blocked it. You can tell he's not ODST because of his armor and his weapons look to be a little out of date. And plus the armor he has seems to have a backpack very similar to the original spartan II armor that we see in the first game as well as the later part of the first book "Fall of Reach" What do you guys think?

EDIT: I just looked at the web cams, and, if anyone remembers, there were boxes in the "path of doom", now there isnt.
