Make thorn slower rate of fire - NERF the poison
It's a 2 headshot weapon and the burn is stupid. It outguns everything and needs a big nerf.
The poison should he made so that it cannot kill.
Even if I kill the person using it. They kill me which is stupid.
Of they fire 3 shots and run away until the poison kills the other person.

1 ReplyIMO it will be better to reduce range to PLEASE EVERYONE. Keep the two shot kill to keep the scrubs from complaining that the thorn was nerf to the ground. Though that's just me.

3 RepliesJust make everything equal. Then everyone can use what they want. Make Suros, Red Death, TLW, Hardlight, Hawkmoon, Monte Carlo, Thorn, Bad Juju, etc all equal. Then those that like HC will use HC, those that like ARs can use them, etc.

If I was you, I'd get out now. Destiny is way too addicting. I know this from personal experience. Before this game came out, I had a six figure salary, beautiful wife, three kids, and I owned my own home. I even had a dog. Fast forward 8 months, my only job is playing Destiny. I lost my job because I told my boss that she could take more explosions to the face than Valus Taurc. My wife you ask? She left me for a "real" man who could solo Crota on Hard. My children? I sold them to buy the Season Pass and a lifetime supply of Mountain Dew. I think I regret it. The only thing I have left is my dog, who I bought an Xbox for so we could run strikes together. It's not working out. She just shits on the controller. My advice? Get out while you can. This game will ruin your life.

I've killed people with Thorn, been killed with Thorn and been destroyed while using Thorn (shotguns, exotics, melee, supers, regular *gasp* legendary/rare/uncommon weapons) It does not need a nerf. Bottom line, if someone is better than you at Crucible then you're going to have a shitty match. Take your loss, learn from what you did wrong and keep playing. Spare us your "cry nerf" post because you're upset at having a lame match. Ultimately that's what this is about.

They need to buff the Plan C back to where it where it was original at. I was standing right in front of dude, shot him with the Plan C, and took 75% of his health. He shotgun with that sniper rifle shotgun and I die..

Honestly that would make the gun better. Anyone who knows how to use the gun well knows to slow down when firing to get headshots. It's the spam shooters that make Thorn so easily beaten.

2 RepliesThere are only 3 weapon types. High Impact/Low ROF, High ROF/Low Impact and then one that splits the difference. If they reduced the ROF, the Impact would increase, so it would kill you even faster.

When babies in the crucible cry for nerfs because they get killed by a weapon more than once, bungie graciously grants them that wish and nerfs it. This then damages it PvE and makes the weapon useless. Thorn already has flaws that prevent it from being amongst the best of the best in PvE, namely it's low impact compared to other hand cannons, it doesn't need the nerf! If you're seeing it outmatch other guns, does that not provide an incentive to use it?
