3 RepliesI use WoC. Idk why people think Fatebringer is better. Just because something explodes? Ill use that when its not 10% less damage than my current hand cannon.
-
1 ReplyQuestion: why not use sling along with radiant dance machines for super quick strafes?
-
Your options are terrible.

11 RepliesEdited by xxACExxONExx: 5/4/2015 3:37:23 PMI see a lot of love for field scout, but it only adds one more round, the reserve ammo increase only matters if juggler is on...I use explosive rounds
-
I use field scout, not for the one extra bullet in a magazine but because it also increases what you have left from about 60 to 100
-
I don't have one :(
-
I always roll with field scout Its only 1 more round, but it's better than explosive rounds, because they cause firefly not to work. And single point sling is a useless perk, especially in PvE, you will have plenty of time to switch weapons.
-
IMO, any hand cannon needs to have field scout for PVE if it is available. That is what I use for my fatebringer.
-
I use Fatebringer 90% of my pve experience, i go with field scout. To me it's the lesser of the 3 evils. Adds a decent amount of reserve ammo, useful for raids (if you don't cheese). Explosive rounds just make Fatebringer feel like a vanguard/crucible variant. Fatebringer really shines with the firefly perk. Using explosive almost cuts this perk in half, where you could get it all the time without ER. Sling is meh at best. Just my thoughts on the matter.
-
I use ER on both characters and it doesn't mess with my Firefly. Every time I get a precision kill I get an explosion.
-
Field Scout - in Raids and pretty much any PvE activity except for.... Nightfall - i switch to Explosive rounds as that wat i'm doing more damage to shielded enemies, don't ask me why, but it's so

1 ReplyExplosive not needed with firefly,and FS>SPS
-
Explosive rounds are nice, but if you crit, and the explosion from the shot is what kills the enemy, firefly and outlaw won't activate. I like field scout for the extra reserve ammo.
-
Convenience store stick ups only.
-
1 ReplySomeone was telling me that explosive rounds take away the extra critical damage. Not sure if it's true though....
-
Sling, but I'm not a fan of any of them.
-
3 RepliesEdited by Deadly: 5/4/2015 1:40:32 PMField Scout sucks WOW ONE MORE BULLET ONLY ON FATEBRINGER
-
Field scout. More ammo in reserve.
-
Use field scout for pve and when I was upgrading my 2nd one I used explosive rounds
-
7 RepliesField scout gives it more impact
-
7 Repliesit doesnt mess with anything... people want firefly to kill someone when ER rounds may do it for you... who cares? lol you can still take out 50 thrall in 2-3 shots with or without ER on
-
I don't use mine. Its not my style.
-
I use field scout. I know it only gives 1 extra in the clip but it also gives like an extra 40 in reserve. I don't really like explosive rounds because if you get a critical hit it splits that damage with surrounding damage. I'd rather it all go to the critical. The only times I thought it might be helpful was with vex, hitting close to a hobgoblin can cause him to to that thing where it's flaming briefly, which can buy you some time and avoid him hitting you.
-
Wish they all didn't suck

Neither get the word of crota its way better
